Thatcham Historical Society

Firstly, I would like to wish everyone a very happy New Year. I will take a brief review of events and activities we, Thatcham Historical Society, have undertaken over the past year and what we have to look forward to this year.

The Annual General Meeting of the Thatcham Historical Society on Monday (30th January) was crammed with enthusiastic members. Chairman Dr Nick Young thanked the members for the continued support of the society and fellow committee members for their hard work in promoting and organising events over the past year. Nick reviewed the events of 2011 highlighting the number of events which had taken place.
