Join herbal historian Julie Wakefield, for this in-the-field foray into Sandham’s plants and their hidden histories. In this guided meander through our beautiful wild flower orchard she will share this vast knowledge, showing us how to identify and use – as well as the traditions and folklore behind - the plants we find on our way.

Event will commence at 11am and continue till approximately 3.30pm

Two levels of ticket are available –

  • £40 (Includes warming lunch in the local pub, over which you can pick Julies brains about any aspects of herb lore that interest you)
  • £20 (Does not include pub lunch, although customers are welcome to bring their own picnic to have either in the grounds or in the Custodian’s cottage)
