Mrs Eliza Allen

The society has been donated two photographs from Mr Roger Pope of Pewsey. Mr Pope saved these photos from being lost and kindly donated them to the society. Both photos are identical, only differing by their size. On the rear of one is the written: Mrs Eliza Allen (my mother) with some of her embroideries 1940 - 1980. However Mr Pope says that the lady lived from 1873 to 1961, leaving us a little confused. Can you shed any light on this?
